Architectural Low™ is not a meadow and not a traditional suburban lawn.

RE:LAWN Architectural Low™ is a premium fine fescue seed blend engineered for modern residential and light commercial landscapes requiring reduced mowing, reduced irrigation, and controlled growth habit.

Designed for projects where conventional turf is excessive, Architectural Low™ establishes a soft, matte, architectural ground plane that remains within common 8" municipal height thresholds when maintained according to protocol.

Chewings Fescue - Low Growing, Shade Tolerant, and Soft Underfoot

Sheeps Fescue - Drought Tolerant with Natural, Deep Green Colour

No Kentucky bluegrass.
No perennial ryegrass.

Kentucky bluegrass is a traditional turf solution built around frequent mowing, irrigation, and input-heavy maintenance.

RE:LAWN Architectural Low™ offers a different proposition: reduced mowing, reduced water demand, and a more refined, contemporary surface expression.

Growth Habit:
Fine-textured, moderately dense, lightly spreading via rhizomes.

Mature Height (Unfertilized):
6–8 inches typical seasonal height
7–9 inches during spring flush

One precision trim per season (late spring / early summer) if desired.

Germination Window:
7–21 days (soil temperature dependent)

Sun/Shade Tolerance:
Performs in full sun to partial shade (minimum 4 hours sunlight)

Drought Tolerance:
High once established

Irrigation Requirement: Establishment only (first 4–6 weeks). Minimal supplemental irrigation thereafter.

Fertility Requirement:
Low. Excess nitrogen increases vertical growth and is not recommended.

Weed Suppression:
Achieved through canopy density and soil preparation standards.

RE:LAWN™ performs well in full sun to partial shade and is well suited to a wide range of residential conditions. For best results, provide at least 4 hours of sunlight daily.

RE:LAWN Architectural Low™ is generally sold by the square foot, with final pricing based on the conditions of the existing site. Soil preparation, grading, irrigation requirements, edging, access, and overall project complexity all influence cost.

Because no two properties are the same, pricing is confirmed following site review. Projects generally begin at $4,500 minimum, with larger installations priced on a per-square-foot basis.

When installed and maintained per RE:LAWN protocol, this blend is designed to remain within common 8" municipal grass height regulations. One annual trim is recommended to ensure compliance during peak spring growth.
